The Only DETOX You Need...

Okay, so we know we would never promote an actual detox - just had to clear the air! We are not about restriction or extreme diets - but we can save that chat for another time!

Today, we are here to talk about the only kind of detox we are 100% behind, and that’s a ‘life detox’.

This means finding unnecessary toxicity in your immediate environment, and eliminating it to preserve your energy, improve your mindset and mental health, and let go of what's holding you back!

Here's how:

  1. Detox your social media: Unfollow anyone that makes you feel insecure, judged, or triggered. Remember that YOU get to make your own social media space to fit yourself. You want this space to make you feel empowered, happy, and secure.

  2. Detox your relationships: Let go of toxic and one-sided friendships or relationships. This can be easier said than done, however it is SO important to help you protect your energy and mental health. Plus, it will allow you to pour more energy into your positive relationships, rather than wasting time on people who you don't align with.

  3. Detox your work/living space: Declutter your desk space, clear out your wardrobe, or rearrange your furniture. A clear physical space means a clear mental space too! It can be as simple as making your bed each morning, or organizing your desk space, but making these small changes to your living area can have a massive impact on your headspace throughout the day! You guys know how much we love simplifying our own spaces!

  4. Detox your mind: This just might be the MOST important detox. Try to catch negative and untrue thoughts as they arise. Challenge these thoughts, and try and reframe your thinking. Ask yourself if these thoughts are actually true. Our thoughts form our identity, don't let your mind repeat false narratives about yourself. The more you practice this, the better you will get! Journaling and meditation can be really helpful tools to use as well. Find 5-10 minutes in your day to put pen to paper, and reflect on your thoughts and the challenges you faced during the day.
